Gabrielle's Ride is a charity cycle that was inspired by the life of Gabrielle Ide Cinanni and will take place annually in Oakville . Funds raised by this event will support Cardiac Kids and The Pediatric Stroke Fund at the SickKids Foundation.  Fundraising dollars will be used for life saving research, the development of social programs and the support of families affected by congenital heart disease and pediatric stroke. Gabrielle's Ride will share her story of passion and hope through our commitment to the children who share her challenges everyday.

Congenital heart defects (CHD) are the most common birth defect affecting one in 100 children. One in 2000 newborn babies and one in 25,000 children will suffer a stroke. When children are born with a heart defect (congenital heart disease), their risk of having a stroke is increased. In the United States , twice as many children die from CHD each year than from all forms of childhood cancer combined.

Gabrielle's Ride will give all members of the community, from elite cyclists to families and children, the opportunity to ride in support of the thousands of children in Canada who live with the affects of congenital heart Disease and pediatric stroke.
