Because not all children survive and death will remain an important process of life, we want to help support our friends and family who grieve. The SickKids Foundation will donate 10% of our fundraising dollars to The Lighthouse for Grieving Children - the community that took hold of our hands when Gabrielle died, and have helped support us throughout this journey.

What is Gabrielle's Ride
Gabrielle's Ride is a charity cycle inspired by the life of Gabrielle Ide Cinanni. The 2nd Annual Gabrielle's Ride will take place on July 21st, 2013 in Oakville, Ontario. Funds raised will go directly to the SickKids Foundation to help children living with cardiac disease and stroke. Together we will identify and support unique research initiatives in hopes of saving the lives of children like Gabrielle.

Gabrielle's Ride will give all members of the community, from elite cyclists to families and children, the opportunity to ride in support of the thousands of children in Canada who live with the affects of congenital heart disease and pediatric stroke.

Gabrielle’s Story

Gabrielle Ide Cinanni was a beautiful, vibrant girl who shared her wisdom by always living passionately despite the daily impact of congenital heart disease and pediatric stroke. She was only five years old when she passed away unexpectedly in her mother's arms due to the complications of CHD. Gabrielle's Ride will continue her legacy of passion and hope through our commitment to the children who share her challenges every day...
